What is the policy?
- Vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and similar conveyances are not allowed for sale on Ventio.
- Vehicle parts and accessories sold on Ventio must comply with all applicable Cyprus and EU laws and regulations, including vehicle safety, emissions, and registration rules.
- The following types of listings are prohibited on Ventio:
- Leased vehicles or offers to lease vehicles.
- AutoCheck, Carfax, or similar vehicle history reports.
- Deployed, rebuilt, or recalled airbags or airbag covers.
- Vehicle titles included with parts listings.
- Products that violate emissions control laws or the Emissions control defeat devices policy.
- Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) labels.
- Parts designed to bypass exhaust or emission control systems (e.g., exhaust cutouts).
- Airbags and related parts may only be sold by approved sellers who:
- Include Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) for donor vehicles in listings.
- Sell only used airbags that have never been deployed and are not subject to recalls (sellers must proactively remove recalled items).
- Ship according to hazardous materials regulations using approved carriers (not the postal service).
- Certify in listings: “I certify this airbag is not subject to recall and will be shipped in accordance with hazmat shipping requirements.”
- Maintain Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) Certification or equivalent.
- Imported vehicles and parts must comply with Cyprus Road Transport Department regulations and EU
Regulation 2018/858 on vehicle approval and market surveillance applicable since January 2025.
- Sellers must ensure conformity with applicable emissions standards, including EU Clean Air Act requirements and Cyprus national rules for vehicles, engines, and fuel containers.

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws. Non-compliance may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.
