Account & Registration

Go to the Sign Up page and register using your email. Enter your details and confirm your account via the verification email sent to your inbox. Once confirmed, you can browse listings, place orders, and save favourites. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

To become a seller, log in to your buyer dashboard and click "Become a Seller", or register directly on the Sell on Ventio page. You must connect a Stripe Express account to list products, sell, or receive payments.

Yes. All seller accounts can also buy products on Ventio. If you start as a buyer, you can upgrade to a seller at any time through your dashboard. If you register as a seller directly, your account automatically includes buyer privileges.

If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password page to reset it securely. Enter your email and follow the instructions sent to you.

Ventio is currently available only for users in Cyprus. Buyers must be located in Cyprus to make purchases, and sellers must be based in Cyprus to list products and receive payments. Accounts registered outside Cyprus will not be able to buy or sell.

If you wish to delete your Ventio account, email info@ventio.com.cy with your request.

Buying on Ventio

Browse products and add your desired items to the cart. At checkout, select your preferred shipping option and review your order details. Once everything is correct, confirm the order to complete the purchase. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details.

Ventio accepts Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted global payment platform. Stripe ensures that your payment information is encrypted and protected.

Ventio does not store your credit card information. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway that encrypts sensitive data and prevents unauthorised access. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on Ventio's servers.

Once the seller ships your order, they will provide a tracking number. Go to your Orders dashboard and click the tracking link to see real-time updates. The tracking link will direct you to the courier or postal service used by the seller, so you can follow the delivery progress directly.

Delivery times depend on the seller's dispatch time and chosen shipping method. Sellers are required to dispatch items promptly upon payment clearance and provide valid tracking details within stated handling timeframes. Delivery times vary based on the seller's location, shipping service selected, and your delivery address. All shipments are within Cyprus only.

No. Ventio currently operates exclusively within Cyprus. All sales and shipments must remain within the territory of Cyprus. International shipping or sales outside Cyprus are not supported.

No. Each seller on Ventio is responsible for their own packaging and shipping. If your order includes products from more than one seller, you will receive separate packages from each seller. Delivery times, shipping methods, and tracking numbers may differ for each package. Check your Orders dashboard for individual tracking links.

Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors, including the seller's chosen delivery method, the product's size and weight, and the delivery location. No. Ventio does not charge buyers any subscription or commission fees. The total price you pay is the seller's listed price plus any shipping fees. All prices on Ventio are displayed inclusive of VAT.

All prices displayed on Ventio are gross prices inclusive of VAT. Since all transactions are within Cyprus, no additional import, customs, or cross-border taxes apply. Sellers are responsible for including VAT in their listed prices and complying with all reporting and remittance obligations under Cyprus tax law. For more details, see our Tax Policy.

Yes. Ventio ensures secure transactions by processing all payments through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. To protect buyers, we hold all payments in escrow for 14 days before releasing them to sellers. This provides enough time for you to receive and check your order and, if necessary, raise any disputes. All sellers undergo verification checks, and our in-platform messaging system allows safe communication without exposing personal contact details.

Yes. On each product page, click "Live Chat" to ask questions, request more information, or clarify details before making a purchase. All communications are kept within Ventio for security and record-keeping.

Returns & Refunds

Buyers may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date the item is received, whether for a change of mind or if the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, in compliance with Cyprus and EU distance selling laws. Return requests can be initiated from the Orders page after the seller has marked the order as complete. Select "Request Warranty", complete the form, and submit a message explaining the reason.

Return shipping costs are generally the buyer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, in which case the seller bears the cost. For full details, see our Returns and Refunds policy.

You can cancel an order only before the seller has marked it as shipped. Contact the seller directly through Ventio and request a cancellation. The seller must agree to cancel the order and provide a refund. If the seller does not approve, or if the order has already been shipped, you must complete the purchase and may submit a return request in accordance with the Returns and Refunds policy.

Contact the seller directly through Ventio's in-platform chat within 14 days of receiving the order. You can also click "Request Warranty" on your Orders page to formally request a refund or replacement, providing the reason and attaching photos as evidence. Since the item was not as described, the seller bears the return shipping costs.

If the issue is not resolved within 3 business days, you can request Ventio to step in by contacting support at info@ventio.com.cy.

Contact the seller through Ventio chat immediately and document the damage with photos. Click "Request Warranty" on your Orders page to formally request a refund or replacement. For damaged items, the seller is responsible for return shipping costs.

Make sure to act within 14 days of receiving the order, as Ventio holds payments in escrow during this period. If the seller does not respond within 3 business days, contact Ventio support at info@ventio.com.cy.

If your order is not delivered, or the product you receive is incorrect, damaged, or missing items, contact the seller directly through Ventio chat within 14 days of receiving the order. You can also use the "Request Warranty" option on your Orders page to formally request a refund, providing your reason along with supporting evidence such as photos.

Upon receipt of returned items, sellers typically issue refunds within 3–5 business days to the original payment method. If you do not receive a refund within 2 business days after the seller receives the returned item, you may request Ventio to intervene at info@ventio.com.cy.

Once a return is approved, the seller will provide you with return shipping instructions. Use a tracked shipping method for all returns. For items valued at €750 or more, proof of delivery is required. Repackage items carefully to avoid damage in transit — sellers may deduct from refunds for loss in value due to improper packaging.

Ventio does not provide return postage labels; sellers coordinate return logistics directly with buyers.

If you haven't completed checkout, simply update your address before confirming. If the order has been placed but not yet shipped, contact the seller immediately through Ventio chat to request a correction. Once an order has been marked as shipped, address changes are no longer possible.

Selling on Ventio

Ventio charges a transparent commission on each item sold, consisting of a percentage of the item price plus a small per-item fee. Shipping fees are not included in the commission. Rates vary by category:

  • Auto – Moto: 12.50% + €0.35
  • Baby & Kid: 14.40% + €0.35
  • Books: 12.80% + €0.35
  • Fashion: 15.80% + €0.35
  • Health & Beauty: 11.80% + €0.35
  • Home & Garden: 12.50% + €0.35
  • Technology: 11.90% + €0.35

Go to your Products page and click "Add New Product". Fill in the product title, upload clear images, choose the appropriate category, set the price, select the brand and condition, enter shipping costs, and write both a short and detailed description. Once all details are filled, click "Save Product".

Your product will go through a review process. If it meets Ventio's quality and guideline standards, it will be approved and published on the marketplace.

Follow these steps to process and fulfil an order:

  1. Open the order from your Orders page and review all details.
  2. Set the shipping status to "On the Way".
  3. Click "Create Shipment" — select products, choose the shipping provider, enter the tracking number and URL, and optionally notify the customer.
  4. Change the order status from "Processing" to "Completed" and click "Update".

For orders over €500, signature confirmation is mandatory. Upload valid tracking details within your stated handling timeframes. For more details, see our Selling Practices Policy.

Contact the customer immediately to inform them. If you expect to have the stock soon, discuss whether they want to wait. If not, mark the order as "Completed", then click "Request Refund" that appears after refreshing the page. Select the products, fill in the quantity and price, provide a reason for the refund, and click "Refund via Stripe Express". Finally, change the order status to "Refunded".

Go to your Payment Methods page. Connect Stripe Express, which is the only payout method offered on Ventio. Payouts via Stripe Express are automated, so no additional action is needed once it is connected.

Go to your Store Settings and find the "Go to Vacation" section. You have two options:

  • Instantly Close: Pauses your shop immediately. You can add a vacation message. To reopen, untick this option manually.
  • Date-wise Close: Schedule your closure ahead of time with a start date and vacation message. The store enters vacation mode automatically on the selected date.

Click "Update Settings" to save your changes.

You can contact Ventio support at info@ventio.com.cy. For order-specific issues, first try contacting the seller directly through the in-platform Live Chat on the product or order page. If you cannot resolve the issue with the seller within 14 days, escalate to Ventio support.

If you encounter a listing that doesn't comply with Ventio's policies, use the "Report abuse" or "Report item" link on the listing page. Ventio will review the report and, if it violates policy, notify the seller and any affected buyers that the listing has been removed or hidden. You can browse all policies on our Policies page.

Ventio prohibits or restricts many categories of items to maintain safety and legal compliance. These include weapons, firearms, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, stolen property, counterfeit items, real estate, virtual currency, and many others.
