Knives policy

Only knives that follow our rules can be listed on Ventio. We take community safety seriously and—in line with Cyprus and EU laws—prohibit certain knife types.

What is the policy?

• Prohibited knives

The following (and any similar) knife types are not allowed on Ventio:

• Dual-action knives
• Gravity knives
• Out-the-front (OTF) knives
• Paratrooper knives
• Push-daggers / push knives
• Switchblades
• Sword canes
• Spring-assisted knives unless there is clear manual opening via a visible thumb stud or screw on the blade
• Hidden or disguised knives (pen knives, belt-buckle knives, lipstick knives, etc.)
• Allowed knives

Any knife not in the prohibited list may be sold, provided your listing also complies with Ventio’s international trading policy. Commonly listed categories include:

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws. Non-compliance may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy ensures compliance with Cyprus and EU weapons regulations, helps prevent the unlawful sale or misuse of dangerous knives, and maintains a safe, responsible marketplace for everyone.
