Military items policy

We don’t allow any military or defense-related items on Ventio. This prohibition covers all equipment, components, apparel, accessories, software, data, or memorabilia designed or modified for military use.

What is the policy?

• All military items are banned on Ventio, including (but not limited to):
• Explosives, grenades, land mines, missiles, rockets, launchers
• Firearms, ammunition, military ordnance (serviceable or demilitarized)
• Military-only equipment and parts (vehicles, aircraft, ships, vehicle components)
• Body armor of any level or origin (military-issued or commercial) and ballistic plates
• Tactical gear and uniforms intended for armed forces use
• Military-grade night-vision, scopes, or targeting systems
• Technical manuals, software, or data controlled under arms-export regulations (ITAR, EU dual-use rules)
• Any item bearing military markings, insignia, or designed for defense applications

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws (including firearms, munitions, and dual-use export controls). Non-compliance may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy ensures compliance with Cyprus and EU arms-control and export-control regulations, protects public safety and security, prevents the illicit trade of weapons and defense technology, and maintains a lawful, responsible marketplace for everyone.
