Encouraging illegal activity policy

What is the policy?

• Prohibited items or content

Any item, service, or information that might enable or encourage illegal activity, including but not limited to:

• Blank “rain checks,” vouchers, or negotiable instruments that could be fraudulently completed or altered
• Instructions, tools, or materials for the manufacture of illegal drugs, bombs, or explosives
• Devices or services that allow remote “kill-switch” activation of smartphones, tablets, or other electronics
• Lock-picking kits, bypass tools, or tutorials on illegal entry
• Products designed to falsify or tamper with drug-testing results
• Official postal or courier materials (labels, forms, packaging) intended for unauthorized use in mail or cargo fraud
• Regulatory compliance
• All listings must comply with Cyprus’s Criminal Code (Cap. 154), Section 113: Incitement to commit an offence, which criminalizes any act that publicly urges or assists another to commit a crime
• All listings must comply with the EU’s Directive 2013/40/EU on attacks against information systems, which prohibits producing or distributing tools primarily designed to facilitate cyber-attacks or unauthorized access.

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws, and must respect the rights of third parties. Violations may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy ensures that Ventio remains a lawful and responsible marketplace by preventing the facilitation of criminal activity, upholding Cyprus criminal law, and adhering to EU cybersecurity regulations. It protects our community from legal risks, fraud, and harm.
