Travel policy

What is the policy?

Ventio strictly prohibits the listing or sale of any travel services, vacation packages, travel certificates, travel club memberships, timeshares, or any related travel-related items or services, regardless of the seller’s status.

• No travel-related services or products may be listed or sold on Ventio.
• This includes flights, hotel stays, cruises, travel certificates, travel club memberships, timeshares, or any type of travel incentive resale.
• No exceptions are permitted for licensed travel agents, travel providers, or individual sellers.

Regulatory compliance

All listings must comply with:

• Cyprus laws and regulations governing travel and consumer protection, prohibiting unauthorized or unregulated travel service sales
• EU directives and regulations on travel sales and consumer rights, which impose strict requirements on licensing and transparency for travel providers
• Ventio’s User Agreement and marketplace policies prohibiting the listing of prohibited or unregulated services

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws, and must respect third-party rights. Violations may lead to listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy ensures full compliance with Cyprus and EU travel regulations and consumer protection laws, prevents potentially fraudulent or misleading listings, avoids complex licensing and liability issues, and maintains a safe, transparent marketplace for all users by disallowing the sale of travel services entirely.
