What is the policy?

Ventio prohibits the sale of counterfeit stamps and requires specific guidelines for collectible and replica stamps to ensure a trustworthy and compliant marketplace.

• Counterfeit stamps and any equipment designed to produce these items are not allowed.
• Collectible stamps must include a clear picture of the actual item being sold and specify any alterations or flaws not visible in the photo.
• Replica stamps must have the listing’s title, description, and photos clearly indicating that the item is a replica.

Regulatory compliance

All listings must comply with:

• Cyprus laws related to the sale of postage and collectible stamps, including licensing and anti-counterfeiting regulations
• EU regulations, including consumer protection laws and intellectual property rights enforcement (such as anti-counterfeiting directives)
• Ventio’s User Agreement and policies to ensure lawful and ethical marketplace activity

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws, and must respect third-party rights. Violations may lead to listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

This policy safeguards sellers and buyers by ensuring compliance with Cyprus and EU regulations aimed at preventing the circulation of counterfeit stamps, protecting intellectual property, and maintaining a trusted and legally compliant marketplace environment.
