Medical devices policy

We don’t allow any medical devices on Ventio—no exceptions. This prohibition covers all equipment or supplies intended for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or healthcare use.

What is the policy?

• All medical devices are banned on Ventio, including but not limited to:
• Prescription equipment (CPAP machines, masks, oxygen concentrators, TENS/EMS units, bone growth stimulators, implantable devices, hearing aids, contact lenses, glucose monitors, pulse oximeters, diagnostic X-ray systems, etc.)
• Over-the-counter devices (thermometers, blood-pressure cuffs, nebulizers, disposable syringes—even without needles, etc.)
• Supplies and accessories (masks, tubing, filters, disposables)
• Vintage or collectible medical devices, even if marked “not for use”
• Any needles, lancets, or sharps

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws. Non-compliance may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy safeguards public health and safety, avoids regulatory and liability risks, and ensures compliance with the EU Medical Devices Regulation (MDR 2017/745) and Cyprus medical-device legislation. By banning all medical devices, Ventio prevents unauthorized or unsafe distribution of healthcare products and maintains a responsible, legally compliant marketplace for everyone.
