Government items policy

You cannot list any government, transit, or shipping-company property—or any related documentation— on Ventio – the sale of such items is strictly prohibited. We take the protection of public assets and personal data seriously.

What is the policy?

All listings of the following (and any similar) items are not allowed on Ventio:

• Uniforms or accessories of government, transit, or shipping companies (hats, pins, scarves)
• Government or company property, including vehicles, license plates, keys, mail bags, decals, official documents, permits, or transit passes
• Official or fake documents, such as passports, identity cards, birth certificates, diplomas, voting-machines, or meters
• Library of Congress or similar government-issued devices, including digital talking-book players and labeled accessories
• Government-issued medals, certificates, VIN plates or rivets
• Signs or items identifying rideshare drivers, delivery personnel, or other official roles

Because this ban covers all such goods, no listing of government, transit, or shipping company property—or any documentation or likeness thereof—is permitted. Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws. Non-compliance may result in listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.

Why does Ventio have this policy?

This policy safeguards public and personal assets, prevents the illicit sale of official property, and helps deter vandalism and identity fraud. It ensures compliance with:

• Cyprus Criminal Code (Cap. 154) on unlawful possession or disposal of public property.
• Registration of Residents Law (No. 31/1957) governing issuance and use of identity cards.
• GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) protecting personal data and identity information.

By prohibiting these listings, Ventio maintains a lawful, responsible marketplace and upholds public trust.
