Bullion policy

You can sell bullion items on Ventio only if your listings comply with all applicable Cyprus hallmarking requirements and international conventions governing precious metals. This policy provides guidance on how to list bullion accurately and responsibly, protecting buyers and sellers alike.

What is the policy?

• Prohibited bullion

Replica, counterfeit, plated or clad bullion—including items described as German silver or nickel silver— cannot be listed on Ventio.

• Accurate description

Listings must specify the precious metal weight content, purity (fineness), and brand (refiner or mint) of the item being sold.

• Photographic proof

You must include clear photos of both sides of the actual coin, bar, or other bullion item.

• Assay card / COA

If the bullion comes with an assay card or Certificate of Authenticity (COA), your listing must include a photo of the COA and an accurate description of its packaging.

• Regulatory compliance
• All listings must comply with Cyprus’s hallmarking legislation and the Vienna Convention on precious metals, specifically:

Activity on Ventio must follow this policy, the Ventio User Agreement, and all applicable Cyprus and EU laws, and must respect third-party rights. Violations may lead to listing removal, warnings, account restrictions, or suspension.
