At this time, we do not allow the sale of any products made from endangered or protected species on our platform. We currently do not permit listings that include items made from or containing parts of animals listed under the CITES Appendices, EU Wildlife Trade Regulations, or other protected species laws. However, this policy may be reviewed and updated in the future to allow the sale of certain animal products under specific legal and ethical conditions, with appropriate certification and regulatory approvals.

What is the policy?

• The sale of products made from the following animal species or parts is strictly prohibited:
• Items from endangered or threatened species
• Products made from species listed on CITES Appendix I
• Items from CITES Appendix II species offered with international shipping
• Items on the Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online prohibited list
• Ivory, bones, or any parts from:
• Elephant
• Dugong
• Hippopotamus
• Narwhal
• Orca
• Sperm whale
• Walrus
• Items made from:
• Bats
• Bears
• Marine mammals
• Protected turtles or tortoises
• Protected birds
• Domesticated cats or dogs
• Snake venom
• For any items made from non-endangered animals, the following conditions apply:
• The species must be clearly identified in the product listing.
• Sellers must ensure the item does not originate from species protected under Cyprus national law, EU

Wildlife Trade Regulations, or CITES.

• Listings of products from species listed in Annex A of the EU Wildlife Trade Regulations require valid documentation (e.g. Article 10 certificate).
• International shipping of animal products must comply with all applicable laws, including customs and export/import permits where necessary.

Future updates We are actively monitoring European Union and Republic of Cyprus regulations regarding animal product sales. This policy may be updated in the future to permit specific items under strict legal compliance and ethical sourcing practices. How is the policy enforced? All users must comply with this policy and the User Agreement. Violations may result in:

• Listing removal
• Warnings
• Account restrictions or suspension
• Other actions as required by law or platform rules

Why does Ventio have this policy?

The trade of animal products—especially those derived from endangered or protected species—is subject to strict international, EU, and Cyprus national laws. This policy helps ensure compliance with regulations such as CITES, the EU Wildlife Trade Regulations, and Cyprus national laws while promoting ethical business practices, protecting biodiversity, and reflecting Ventio’s commitment to responsible commerce and the protection of endangered species. It ensures that products from at-risk wildlife are not traded irresponsibly, aligns with national and international conservation efforts, and supports a safe, ethical, and legally compliant marketplace for everyone.
